Shopify offers a free 14-day trial which begins immediately after you first sign up, not when you start working on your store. This leaves new merchants just enough time to get a feel of how Shopify works but it certainly isn’t enough time for setting up a whole store and exploring all Shopify’s features. For example payment systems, shipping, products and collections, Facebook and Instagram integration, inventory, SEO marketing to say a few.

 

 

You can sign up and use Shopify for free for 14 days without entering your payment details. Once the 14-day period ends you’ll have to select a subscription plan which starts from £29/month (discounted annual and biennial plans are also available).

 

 

If you don’t select a monthly plan at the end of your free trial, then your store will be paused and you won’t be able to continue working on it until you choose one. If you decide to cancel your Shopify account during or at the end of your free trial and you haven’t selected a pricing plan, you don’t need to take any action. Your account will be frozen and you won’t be charged for anything when your trial expires
